I completed my Dietetics degree at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (PMB) in 2005. I have worked at Emmaus Hospital in Winterton, King Edward VIII Hospital in Durban and St Mary’s Hospital in Mariannhill. I was instrumental in achieving the Mother and Baby Friendly Status at St Mary’s and ran numerous training courses with medical staff and management.
To further enhance my interest in breastfeeding and infant nutrition, I studied to become a Lactation Consultant and passed the International Board of Certified Lactation Examiners exam in July 2013. Being a mother myself, I am dedicated to supporting, encouraging and assisting mothers to breastfeed and provide the best nutrition for their children. This sets the platform for optimal health and well-being throughout the life cycle. I have helped and supported mothers on their breastfeeding journeys for over 10 years and I have also breastfed my own three children. I would love to help you meet your own feeding goals.
